TROUT UNLIMITED-MOHAWK VALLEY CHAPTER #112

Minutes of September 9, 2009

Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Ken Ziobro at 7:08 PM at Gander Mountain.

Reports:

1. Treasure’s Report: Checking account balance was $1815.45.  Total funds of $4156.80.  MV TU chapter received state farm grant of $500.00.
2. Trout in the Classroom: Lauri Trotta will be scheduling school trips to Morrisville this October and November.

Old Business:

Russ Hart made a motion seconded by David Corr to donate to the stream improvement fund beginning January 2010.

The chapter decided that they will continue to hold the annual trout banquet this year.  A speaker has not yet been designated.

The tentative date decided for the trout expo is April 10^th.  The same venue will be used if available.  Mats can be rented for each booth to help block the cold.  Suggestions were made to include more vendors for next year.

Bob Fields and David Corr have volunteered to work on organizing the Trout Expo event. David Corr made a motion seconded by Bob Fields to donate $200 towards lunch expenses involving the meeting.   

New Business:

Trout Unlimited state meeting will be held this Saturday (September 12^th) in Cold Brook.
